Expectations were so sky-high (especially as the movie was released in the same year as Chandni and Chaalbaaz) that the producer and director locked in a third part for the film - to be titled Nagme. Sadly, due to the under-performance of Nigahein (and a whole glut of snake-based films that all tanked around the same time), the idea was scrapped.
The most comprehensive fan blog dedicated to India's most beautiful and greatest actress of all-time (in our humble opine!), Sridevi. Sridevi aka Sreedevi, ruled Indian cinema (with awesome performances in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi films) in a career spanning 50 incredible years featuring 266 films. Born in Sivakasi on August 13 1963, her untimely and tragic death on February 24, 2018 left a nation in mourning. In our hearts, she'll forever be, the eternal Queen of Bollywood.

Lamhe (1991): Exquisite Sridevi in the song Megha re Megha: Popular gifs on trend
If you haven't got he blue ray of Sridevi's magical act in Lamhe - get it NOW! The glorious colours, music, acting, story, stars... its just the most faultless performance in Sridevi's illustrious career. A timeless classic that bears repeating.
These snaps from the underrated gem of a song, Megha Re Megha. Sri looks absolutely gorgeous in it. Sridevi talked about how "paunchy" she was during the shoot and she lost the weight before she worked on her role as Pooja. We find her endearing throughout. But naturally...
Take 2: Sridevi's straw hat and tye dyed top!
A gorgeous series of pics Sridevi did with her fav photographer Rakesh Shreshta in the 90s for MOVIE magazine.
The straw hat and tye-dyed top. Sri looks so cute!
