Sridevi and Sunny Deol in the fantasy thriller Nigahein (1989). She looks so, so gorgeous in this movie. As one of the first few sequels ever to be made in Bollywood in the 1980s, the makers tried to cash in on the stupendous success of Nagina. 

Expectations were so sky-high (especially as the movie was released in the same year as Chandni and Chaalbaaz) that the producer and director locked in a third part for the film - to be titled Nagme. Sadly, due to the under-performance of Nigahein (and a whole glut of snake-based films that all tanked around the same time), the idea was scrapped.

With over 25 years come and gone since the release of this fantastic thriller Mr India, fans have lost patience waiting for the much-talked about sequel. Until the movie releases - at this rate, possibly in the year 2020 (!) -  here are some rare, newly-found snaps of Anil Kapoor and Sridevi on the sets of the film. Too cute. 

This was not in the movie - guess it got trimmed in the editing table for the long film. Hope there's a DVD with additional scenes one day!
